Many Stories

Look at me
transparent to my eyes
truly look through my disguise
victimize,beating to a pulp
,barely breathing,yet I survive
Look at me,corrupted
by politics,in between
both worlds,in a alley,with people strange
to see, smelling bread at a local
bakery in north Harlem
overwhelming satisfaction
of warm harmony fills me!! with circumstance cease to
exist
I'm a orphan
waiting years, yet adoption never picks me
thirteen never been to school,I'm beginning to think
people are cruel,look at me
Step on my block, bullets flying, blood is like rain.flowing to my door
deception of freedom rang, yet no bells are swung, who knows
when its calling on me,look at me
Making a five finger discount,in my heart I'm wrong, but my mind isn't listening, the judge say guilty
fives years in cell block four, listen to silence
closing my door,look at me
Pregnant!i independence eludes me
dropping out thoughts of temptation gone wrong, praying for blessings
but god isn't hearing my plea, look at me
Look at me,flying from America,to japan,
foreign lands,I must fly!
cargo at hand,look at me
Selling my body for pennies on a dollar, please
don't judge me.my daughter is in need, look at me
